Bookies offer odds on Britney Spears’ baby names as she announces pregnancy news

The pop star announced on Monday night that she is expecting a baby with her husband Sam Asghari.

Ladbrokes has opened betting on baby names with ‘Sam’ at 10/1 and ‘Rose’ at 7/1 their top picks for a boy and girl respectively.

For boys names, William and Myles are 12/1, her father in law’s name Michael is at 14/1 while Irish name Conor is 40/1, with Fionn and Oisin at 80/1.

Justin, after her former boyfriend Justin Timberlake, is an outsider at 100/1.

Meanwhile, for girls Kate (after Kate Hudson) is 8/1 and Drew (after Drew Barrymore) is 10/1.

The name of her former BFF Paris is 16/1, with the names of fellow pop icons Miley Cyrus, Cher, and Christina Aguilera all in the mix at 18/1, 20/1 and 40/1.

You can also back her to pick an Irish name with Mary at 33/1 and Fiadh at 80/1.

Her sister Jamie Lynn’s middle name is 50/1 while Felicia is 18/1 and Beverley is 33/1.

Britney revealed her baby news when she said she took a pregnancy test after gaining weight following a recent vacation to Hawaii.

“I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back,” Spears wrote, adding that Asghari, who she referred to as her husband after they seemingly secretly married this year, suggested she was “food pregnant”.

“So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby,” she continued.
