Bonnie Ryan has been enjoying a glittering hen weekend in Paris with mum Morah, sisters Lottie and Babs as well as some close friends.

The makeup artist has been sharing snaps and video of her trip that her friends threw her as a surprise “it's not your hen” party ahead of her big day.

The bride was in the dark about their destination and was delighted when she arrived at the airport.

Bonnie took to social media to share that she had packed a special glass for the trip: “A glass of wine to pack for my hen weekend.

“I’ve no idea what the plan is but I’ve been told to be ready early in the morning to hit the road! Super excited and can’t believe this day is finally here.”

Wearing a bridal tiara with a short white veil, she and her group of friends waved mini French flags in celebration.

Her sister and maid of honour Lottie was also in the hen party spirit as she got her nails done in a soft baby pink colour.

Day one of the festivities included drinks on the hotel balcony, a show at the iconic Moulin Rouge and champagne by the glittering Eiffel Tower.

Bonnie got engaged to her long-term boyfriend John back on November 3 2019 when he popped the question while they were on a romantic trip to New York.

The couple, who have been together since they were teenagers, were legally married in a small civil ceremony last month.

They plan to celebrate their nuptials with a wider group of friends and family at their wedding abroad in the coming weeks.

Bonnie's sister Lottie is taking on the role as matron of honour, while her other sister Babs and a close friend will be bridesmaids.

Lottie recently told RSVP that she was feeling the pressure to produce a hen weekend to meet her sister's stylish standards.

"We are in full drive at this stage,” she said. “She is way more organised than I was and she has it all under control.

"Honestly, I am just focusing on the hen party at the moment and I am trying to deliver something to meet her expectations and standards.

"The pressure is on but hopefully I pull it off and she gets a big surprise. The wedding will be amazing and it will be good to enjoy a family wedding that you don’t have to pay for!"
