It began as a cabaret act at their Greek restaurant in London, before they auditioned for Britain's Got Talent in 2009.

Their act, for which they danced shirtless and wore shiny blonde wigs, took them all the way to the finals, and Judge Simon Cowell called them one of his favourite dance acts.

They eventually came fourth behind saxophonist Julian Smith, singer Susan Boyle and eventual winners, the Diversity dance company.

Stavros Flatley returned for the Champions series and managed to surpass their original placement, coming second.

After the 2019 Champions series, Lagi announced that he would be leaving the event to focus on his hairdressing business in Cyprus.
