Brazilian football legend Cafu has revealed himself to be a Cork City fan after posing with the club’s jersey.
The 51-year-old, whose real name is Marcos Evangelista de Morais, was recorded holding the iconic green jersey – which read ‘Cafu 2’ on the back - for videos posted to TikTok.
In the clips, CorkBeo has reported that Cafu says: “Hey Brian, how are you? I got the jersey and I am here to say thanks for the jersey, it’s beautiful.

“I wish you and the team to be very successful, and one time we'll meet for a beer. Big hug from Captain Cafu.”
The videos, which are being widely circulated online, were originally posted by users ‘csheehannn’ and ‘deanxcahill’ on their TikTok accounts.
The clips have been viewed more than 33,000 times on the platform.
Many football fans found the videos highly amusing, with others pondering “how this happened” at all.
“He’d make the team,” one person quipped.
