Ronan Keating has joined the cast of PAW Patrol: The Movie, which will be released in cinemas next month.

The former Boyzone star will have a voice cameo in the animated film alongside McFly’s Tom Fletcher, presenter Richard Arnold, and The Only Wayis Essex star Sam Faiers as part of the release in Ireland and the UK.

They will voice new characters alongside the previously announced Kim Kardashian West, Yara Shahidi, Marsai Martin, Tyler Perry, Jimmy Kimmel, Randall Park and Dax Shepard.

Paramount Studios have said that fans of the show can prepare for a “Pawsome summer” ahead of the film’s release on August 9th and teased what viewers can expect from the PAW Patrol movie: “In their thrilling first big screen adventure, when PAW Patrol’s biggest rival, Humdinger, becomes Mayor of nearby Adventure City and starts wreaking havoc, Ryder and everyone’s favourite heroic pups kick into high gear to face the challenge head on.

“While one pup must face his past in Adventure City, the team finds help from a new ally, the savvy dachshund Liberty. Together, armed with exciting new gadgets and gear, the PAW Patrol fights to save the citizens of Adventure City!”

PAW Patrol: The Movie is in cinemas from Monday, 9th August.
