Throwback: Imelda May & Glen Hansard belt out 'Fairytale of New York' at St Stephen's Green
Imelda May and Glen Hansard were among Irish stars performing outside the Gaiety this Christmas Eve. The event was organised to help raise funds for homeless charity the Simon Community.
The annual busking session has seen U2's Bono and The Edge perform in previous years. This year saw a large crowd gathering in anticipation to see the rock band's front man. Glen Hansard announced at the end of the show however, that Bono was unable to attend due to being 'wrecked', after he recently flew in from India.
Donations of four euro can be made to the Simon Community, by texting DUBSIMON to 50300.
