Tesco's new school range is a class act

School uniforms can cost a small fortune, but F&F thankfully has you covered, writes Denise Smith

Smart F&F trousers start from €7.50

Prices start from €12.50 for cute bow loafers or sporty double strap shoes.

Two-pack skirts from €7.50

Two-pack sweatshirts from €5

Two-pack pleated pinafores from €12.50.

Two-pack long sleeve shirts from €4.50

Cast your mind back to the last school term and remind yourself how those 'scuff-repellent' shoes disintegrated three weeks into the year or how the 'crease-proof' trousers that you supposedly would never have to iron didn't exactly stick to their side of the bargain.

Lessons must be learned when it comes to buying school uniforms, which is why Mum & Me has teamed up with Tesco to bring you everything you need to get you and your little darlings through the school year with your sanity and life savings intact.

When it comes to uniforms, Tesco has an endless range which is high on quality and affordability. Between 'grow with me' hems, non-iron shirts and uniforms that look great wash after wash, you won't need to worry about shrinking trousers.

Prices for F&F easy-iron uniforms start from as little as €2.50 for plain T-shirts and €3 for basic polo shirts, with many essentials sold in two-packs for even better value. The shirts have reinforced seams and a bonded collar to ensure they keep their shape for longer.

Smart F&F trousers and skirts allow little ones to grow into them with adjustable waistbands. Trousers are reinforced at the knee area to survive plenty of playground exploring. F&F have also introduced 'grow with me' hems to two-pack trousers, meaning trouser hems can be taken down as children grow taller.

F&F's back-to-school uniform range features at least one sustainable attribute and features the 'Made Mindfully' symbol, which means that how the materials have been produced, grown or made has a more positive impact on the environment. That's an A+ from us.
