Rosanna Davison has told the Herald she's "just bursting with happiness" after giving birth to her "miracle" twin boys yesterday morning.

There was no hiding her beautiful boys away from the rest of the world for the former Miss World, as she shared a gorgeous photograph with the tiny pair - who she has named Hugo and Oscar.

They arrived into the world just days before her daughter Sophia turns one on Saturday.

Rosanna gave birth to the pair in Holles Street maternity hospital and said both she and husband Wes Quirke couldn't be any happier.

"Our beautiful and healthy identical twin baby boys, Hugo and Oscar, arrived safely into the world this morning and our hearts are bursting with love," she wrote.

"Just like that, we've become a family of five and all our dreams have come true.

"We're deeply grateful to the wonderful, hardworking team at @nationalmaternityhospital for all of their kindness and support."

It will certainly be a busy time for the celebrity couple as they prepare for daughter Sophia's milestone birthday celebrations this weekend.

Speaking recently, Rosanna said she and Wes always dreamed of having three children and she couldn't wait to meet her twins.
