Three people have already been charged with murder in connection to the killing
Six men have been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Lyra McKee (29).
Ms McKee was shot dead by the New IRA during rioting in the Creggan area of the city in April, 2019.
The five, aged 54, 41, 20, 26 and two 21-year-olds were arrested in the Cityside area of the city this morning under the Terrorism Act and have been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite in Belfast to be interviewed.
Three men have previously been charged with murder and another five with rioting after the events of the night
