Police search teams attended a bomb alert today in which a Belfast city centre street was evacuated.

The incident took place in the Castle Street area after a telephone warning that a device had been left there this morning.

Castle Street is one of Belfast's largest retail areas with bars, restaurants, independent grocers and butchers as well as Primark.
