fire damage PSNI probe after suspected arson attack causes £14k damage to Co Down business and vehicles

A business in County Down has suffered £14,000 worth of damage after a suspected arson attack in the early hours of this morning.

The incident happened at around 2.40am at a motor repair centre in the Cloonagh Road area of Downpatrick.

Several vehicles at the business were destroyed during the incident.

A PSNI spokesperson said the police are currently making enquiries into the incident and have appealed for anyone with any information to contact the police on 101.
