Missing man James (Jimmy) Higgins

The PSNI have made an appeal for information on missing man James (Jimmy) Higgins who went missing in the early hours of this morning in Co Antrim.

The 85-year-old left home, in Main Street in Armoy, at 1am this morning.

Mr Higgins is described as being 5’ 7” in height, with white/grey short hair.

He is thought to be wearing glasses, a pale green jumper and light brown or grey trousers.

He also has links to Rasharkin, and police are asking homeowners and farmers in both Armoy and Rasharkin to please check gardens, outbuildings and fields.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Anyone with information is asked to contact officers on 101, quoting reference 298 of 22/12/21."
