The brother of an Ulster Game of Thrones star is to be laid to rest on Thursday following a fatal collision when his motorcycle collided with another motorcycle.

David Fairley, in his 50s, died in the collision on the Moyarget Road on October 21.

His funeral notice reads Mr Fairley was the ‘dearly beloved son of the late Brian and Theresa, dear brother of Paul, Michelle, Nichola, Simone and Marc and a much loved brother-in-law and uncle’.

Mr Fairley’s requiem mass will take place in St. John’s Church, Somerset Drive, Coleraine on Thursday, October 28, at 10am with private cremation afterwards.

The notice adds: ‘Deeply regretted by his loving family and entire family circle.

‘Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.’

Mr Fairley’s sister, Michelle, played Catelyn Stark, wife of the character Ned Stark in the hit HBO show Game of Thrones.
