Four men arrested over a gathering of masked men linked to east Belfast UVF have been released by police.

The men aged 40, 45, 48, and 52 were arrested by the Criminal Investigation Branch of the PSNI and the Paramilitary Crime Task Force.

They were detained on suspicion of terrorism during searches in east Belfast, Dundonald and Newtownards.

The men have been released pending reports to the Public Prosecution Service.
