Three men have been arrested following the discovery of a cannabis factory in County Armagh.

During the PSNI operation in the Glenanne area, a quantity of suspected cannabis was found as well as cultivation equipment.

Police conducted follow-up searches in the Newry area during which they found more cannabis and seized other items.

A 42-year-old man and two 37-year-old men have been arrested for various offences in connection to the find.

All three have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Inspector Quinn said: “We are committed to tackling the illegal supply and use of drugs, and will continue to investigate those who profit from the consequent misery and harm.
