Gun terror Woman and four men due in court after shot fired in Mahon, Co Cork

Gardai said no injuries were reported and investigations are ongoing.

Five people, who were arrested after a shot was fired in Cork last Sunday night, are due in court this morning. 

All nine people arrested after gardai responded to reports of a disturbance in the Ravensdale Close area of Mahon have now been charged or released from custody.

A woman and four men are due before Cork District Court this morning.

Gardai said no injuries were reported and investigations are ongoing.

“Throughout the evening, gardaí carried out follow up searches at two residences in relation to the incident,” gardai said. “Three vehicles were also searched.

“A number of weapons were seized and a total of nine people were arrested. This included four men, a male juvenile and four women.

"The male juvenile has since been released along with one another woman."

Two women appeared before Cork District Court yesterday in relation to the incident.
