Horror collision Woman (60s) dies in road crash in Lusk, Co Dublin
Two vehicles were involved in the accident which happened just after 6pm.
A woman in her 60s has died in a car crash in north Co Dublin.
The tragic collision occurred on the R127 road at Blakes Cross in Lusk, on Saturday 23rd January 2021.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident which happened just after 6pm. The driver of one of the cars, a woman aged 60 years, was pronounced dead at the scene a short time after the crash.
The other driver, a woman in her 50s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital.
Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A garda spokesperson revealed: "The body of the deceased has since been removed from scene. The coroner has been notified and a post mortem has been arranged."
The road was closed for a forensic collision examination but has since fully reopened to traffic.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward and for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the area at the time to make this footage available to Gardaí.
