Two people have been rescued from a house fire in Dublin. 

Fire crews managed to save both from a blaze that broke out late last night.

Firefighters say crews in breathing apparatus extinguished the fire and the property was ventilated.

Dublin Fire Brigade tweeted at 11.54pm last night that three crews were called to the incident.

It said: "Firefighters from Blanchardstown, Finglas and Phibsborough rescued two people today after reports of a house fire.
