'What a tragedy. So sorry to hear this heart-breaking news. My thoughts are with Carol's family'
Tributes have been pouring in for tragic mum-of-two Carol Sheehan who died while getting a medical procedure in Turkey.
Ms Sheehan, who was originally from Tramore in Co Waterford, where she grew up, and had been living in Knights Grange in the city, has been remembered as a “gentle soul” and a “lovely girl who will be very sadly missed”.
Her remains were returned home earlier this month following assistance from the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, after she tragically lost her life on April 30.
A funeral service for Ms Sheehan, who it believed died during the procedure, was held in the Island Crematorium on Monday.
Her death noticed on RIP.ie states that Carol, of Knights Grange, Waterford City/Tramore, Waterford, who is predeceased by her sister Elizabeth, will be sadly missed.
