RIP Tributes paid to mum-of-three after sudden death at Dublin apartment

A mother-of-three will be laid to rest today after her sudden death at the age of 42.

Claudia Dippe of Clonee, Dublin, was found dead in an apartment in Dublin city on April 3.

It is understood that she was using services for the homeless at the time.

Claudia, who was originally from Germany, was remembered fondly by many people in the Dublin 15 community who praised her for her heart of gold and her smile.

Her death notice on RIP.ie reads: "Claudia is sadly missed by her loving Mam (Oma), Dad (Opa) daughters Deborah, Joanne and Daurat, sister Conny, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family in Germany and a large circle of friends."

People have left tributes, including: “To Claudia’s children and extended family, deepest sympathy for your terrible loss , my heart is broke for you all, my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this this shocking time, God bless you all.”

Another added: "Condolences to Claudia’s family and friends on her untimely passing. She was so caring and vibrant and full of fun. She will be greatly missed.”

A third wrote: “Heartfelt condolences to Claudia's family and friends. A lovely, vibrant, fun loving woman, gone way too soon. She always spoke of her beautiful daughters with such love and pride.”

One pal said: “I lived with Claudia. She had many friends here. I will always miss beautiful Claudia. Condolences to her family. She always spoke about her three beautiful daughters. It is very lonely being here without her.”

Solidarity-People Before Profit’s Ruth Coppinger posted a picture on her Facebook page, writing: “A reminder of when Claudia came to the Dail with friends who were then affected by homelessness. She wasn't herself affected at that time but came to show solidarity with others.”

A GoFundMe page set up to help raise funds for Claudia's burial states that anyone that had the privilege of knowing Claudia knows just how beautiful her spirit was.

“She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone even if it meant she went without.

“She adored her three girls and was a great mother and a great friend to so many. She is so deeply loved and will be missed beyond measure. Rest in perfect peace, my beautiful friend,” a touching tribute read.

A private funeral will take place for immediate family only due to Government advice and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings.
