Three men rushed to hospital after surviving Galway car crash

Three men were rushed to hospital following a “serious” car accident in Co. Galway early this morning.
The single-vehicle crash took place this morning, Sunday 15th May, on the R358 at Treanrevagh, Mountbellew shortly after 2am.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene and a man in his 30s was taken to University Hospital Galway to be treated for his injuries, which are understood to be serious but non-life threatening.
Two other men, one aged in his 30s and the other in his 20s, were also hospitalised.

The road was closed for a period to allow for a technical examination to take place. It has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing to any person who may have witnessed this collision to contact them. Any road users who were travelling who has camera (including dash cam) footage, is asked to make this available to gardaí.
