Garda probe Teen hospitalised following assault in Tallaght
A young man is seriously ill in hospital after a vicious assault in Dublin.
The teenager was attacked at Tymon lane in Tallaght on Saturday evening.
Several Garda cars sealed off the area, including the entrance to the nearby basketball arena, and the youth was rushed to hospital.
“Gardai in Tallaght are investigating an assault that occurred Saturday afternoon, 2nd January 2021, in Tymon Lane, Tallaght, at approximately 6.45pm,” said a Garda spokesman.
“One male youth, aged in his teens, was seriously injured and taken to University Hospital Tallaght in a serious condition.
“Investigations are continuing.”
