Road death Teen dies following horror crash between two motorbikes and car in Dublin

A teenager has died following a horror crash involving two motorbikes and a car in Dublin.

The tragedy happened at approximately 10.15pm on the Finglas Road in Glasnevin on Saturday 31st July, 2021.

He was rushed to the Mater Hospital along with another casualty but sadly was later pronounced dead.

Another teenager who was a pillion passenger on one of the bikes was injured in the collision and is being treated in hospital.

His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The driver of the car was uninjured. No other injuries have been reported at this time.

Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have completed their examination of the scene and the road is now re-open.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to come forward. Any road users who were travelling on the Finglas Road on Saturday 31st July between 10.10pm and 10.25p.m and who may have camera footage (including dash cam) is asked to make it available to Gardaí.
