Tayto to 'replace' iconic Cheese & Onion hit crisps with Smashed Avocado flavour
'Move over Cheese & Onion, there’s a new flavour in town'
In what has to be an April Fool's Day wind up, it has been claimed that Tayto is replacing its iconic Cheese & Onion flavoured hit crisp with Smashed Avocado.
In a press release declaring "BIG news from Tayto!" it was announced that Ireland’s favourite crisps and snacks brand had announced the removal of its Tayto Cheese & Onion favourite to make way for Tayto Smashed Avocado Flavour.
“Move over Cheese & Onion, there’s a new flavour in town," it was claimed. "Never one to rest on his laurels, Mr Tayto has been busy in the kitchen creating a brand new flavour, based on a dish that has become a staple at many an Irish brunch table and favoured by Millennials & Gen Z – Tayto Smashed Avocado.
"Tayto Smashed Avocado will now be taking the reins and is available in stores nationwide."
