Snow joke Storm Bella Ireland: Snow-ice warning and wind alert issued ahead of 'wintry showers' and 110km/h gusts
Met Eireann have placed another six counties under a Status Yellow snow-ice warning ahead of "wintry showers" today.
An earlier alert for Donegal and Sligo has been upgraded to include Cavan, Monaghan, Longford, Louth, Leitrim and Roscommon.
The warning will be in place for 23 hours from 6am on Sunday, December 27 until 7am on Monday, December 28.
Met Eireann cautioned: "Wintry showers today (Sunday) and tonight with some accumulations possible. Risk of icy stretches on untreated surfaces."
Meanwhile, a separate Status Yellow wind warning has been issued for Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork and Kerry as the remnants of Storm Bella are set to batter the west coast.

A forecaster revealed northwesterly winds associated with Storm Bella will veer northerly overnight and mean speeds of 50 to 65km/h with gusts of 90 to 110km/h. Winds will be stronger in exposed areas and on higher ground.
Met Eireann added: "With the combination of strong winds, high waves and forecasted storm surge, there is a risk of coastal flooding."
The wind warning will be in place from 6pm on Sunday, December 27, to 2pm on Monday, December 28.
Meanwhile, the UK Met Office have placed Antrim, Armagh, Down, Derry, Tyrone and Fermanagh under a snow-ice warning which will last until 3pm this afternoon.
A further Status Yellow alert for Northern Ireland will come into effect at 3pm this evening and will last until 10am on Monday,
