Crash tragedy Pedestrian (60s) killed in lorry accident in Carbury, Co Kildare

His body has been taken to the local morgue where a post-mortem will take place at a later date.

A man has died in a road accident involving an articulated lorry in the early hours of this morning.

The pedestrian, aged in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision outside a business premises in Carbury, Co. Kildare just after 7.15am today.

His body has been taken to the local morgue where a post-mortem will take place at a later date.

The driver of the lorry was not injured during the incident.

The area is now fully reopened following an examination by Forensic Collision Investigators.
