A massive online appeal has been launched to find a missing Irishman who as last seen at Berlin’s Brandenburg Airport on Monday, November 15. 

In a series of posts across social media, friends and supporters have asked people to share information about Alan Curry as his “family is very worried about him”.

The 45 year-old man is described as 5ft 9in tall, has a shaved head and blue eyes and was wearing a blue mid-length coat over a white shirt, grey suit and black shoes.

He has tattoo sleeves on both arms while he is also said to periodically change between a full beard, which is brown with grey at the chin area, a goatee and clean shaven.

Numerous posts have been shared about the missing man with one person writing on Twitter: “Dublin man gone missing. His family are very worried and hoping for any word from Berlin that he’s safe.”

“Dubliners and Berliners in particular, could you please share this. Alan Curry is missing since Monday 15th,” another adds. “His family are very worried. He was last seen in Berlin-Brandenburg Airport. Please retweet.”

One person added: “I’ve made this post public if everyone could please share it would be a massive help to the family. If you know anyone in Germany send them this post. Imagine it was your own family member a share is all I’m asking please."

Mr Curry is described as having a broad build and two full-arm tattoos. Anyone with information is asked to contact Finglas Garda station on 01 6667500.
