One woman is killed and three others injured in horrific Kilkenny crash

Investigations are underway this morning after one woman was killed and three others injured in a horrific car crash in Co Kilkenny yesterday evening.
The collision, on the N25 at Gaulstown in Glenmore at 6.30pm, involved two cars and led to the death of the driver of one of the vehicles ,a woman in her 40s, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other women, two aged in their 20s and one in her late teens, were rushed to University Hospital Waterford to be treated for serious injuries.
Last night, gardai said the road was closed to allow Garda Forensic Collision Investigators to conduct an examination of the scene. Local diversions were also in place.
“Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to come forward,” they said.

“Any road users who were travelling on the N25 in Glenmore on Wednesday 1st December 2021 between 6.15pm and 6.40pm and who may have camera footage (including dash cam) is asked to make it available.
