Nine charged and two cautioned over anti-mask protest in Dublin

Nine people have been charged with public order offences after being arrested by gardaí at an unsanctioned protest in Dublin.
On Thursday afternoon, eleven people were arrested by officers during an anti-mask wearing protest in Dublin City centre on Thursday.
A garda spokesman told the Sunday World that they detained nine men and two women - whose ages ranging from 20 to 60-years-old.
This morning gardaí confirmed that nine of those arrested have been charged with public order offences and released on bail to appear before the District Court, Criminal Courts of Justice next month.
Two of those arrested have been released under caution.
An investigation focused on the organisers of this protest is also underway.
The advice of the Director of Public Prosecutions will be sought in respect of any further actions to be taken.
