One of Conor McGregor’s biggest rivals, UFC star Nate Diaz, has come to the Dublin fighter’s defence by attacking one of his challengers.

McGregor, who lost to Nate Diaz before he beat him in their rematch, has been ‘called out’ by YouTube star Jake Paul (23) who slagged off the Irishman as he offered him $50million (41 million euro) for a boxing fight.

In the online taunt, Paul even slags off McGregor's girlfriend Dee Devlin and laughs at UFC boss Dana White.

He said: "I know you're probably beating up old dudes in a bar right now or maybe you're j***ing off as you're sick of f***ing your wife, I mean, she's a four [out of ten], Conor you could do a lot better, but happy Monday!

"My team sent you a $50 million offer this morning, $50 million cash, proof of funds, the biggest fight offer you've ever been offered."

Diaz has rushed to Conor's defence, saying Paul needs his “ass beat for free” for the insult.

"Jake Paul you need your ass beat for free you spoiled f***, you can't really fight dumbs***, he tweeted.

"You're gonna end up with your ass whooped for real somewhere talking like that."

Paul, who has amassed 20.3 million subscribers on YouTube, called out McGregor after he knocked out former NBA player Nate Robinson in November.

Paul has even claimed that he was 'selected by the Gods to be the new Floyd Mayweather'.
