Joe way Meet the Irish Joe Biden impersonator who's a dead ringer for US President
“We’re also similar in that we're both from Irish Catholic families and he was the first in his family to go to university and I was the first in mine."
Meet Mr Kevin ‘Joe Biden’ Dalton...the next great presidential impersonator.
The 75-year-old Irish-American actor is suddenly looking at a new career as a stand in for the President of the United States after the Democrat secured his famous victory that knocked Trump out of the Oval Office.
Kevin, who lives in London, is an American citizen although his family is Irish. His mother’s family, the Brophys, still live on their dairy farm in Castlecomer, Kilkenny.
The successful New York businessman moved to London to be closer to his family five years ago. But after getting bored he started looking for acting and modelling jobs to keep him busy.
He got a few bit parts in some big movies but when Joe Biden finally secured the White House he realised his true calling.
“I have two daughters, one who lives in Paris and one here in London,” he revealed. “I wanted to see my grandkids on a more regular basis so I made the move here with my wife in 2015.

“But, after a while, in 2018, I was getting pretty bored so I started doing some acting and modeling work and things like that.
“I’ve appeared in The Crown and in Batman, that's the last work I got before all the lockdowns. And lately I've got more inquiries from movies and productions that are starting up again.
“But it was when Biden started doing better in the election process and actually then became the candidate that people started saying to me that I looked so much like him that maybe I should try to do impersonations.
“I contacted a couple of agents, I had one in London and one in the US and they thought it was a great idea so we're working on it.
“We’re only really getting started but already I've got some write ups in the London papers including The Times where I was mentioned in the Celebrity Watch column so we're going in the right direction. Let's see where it goes.”
Kevin is actually a big fan of the US President and feels they already have a lot in common, apart from looking like each other, as they both hail from similar backgrounds.
“I love Joe Biden,” he enthused. “And our backgrounds are incredibly similar. He is from the northeast of the US, from Delaware in fact, and I was a New Yorker who lived for a while in New Jersey so we're from the same part of the country.
“We’re also similar in that we're both from Irish Catholic families and he was the first in his family to go to university and I was the first in mine.
“But outside of that I believe in the guy. I think he's gonna be the right person for us to get us through these tough times.”
Kevin said that while he has never met Mr Biden, he is hoping for an opportunity to do so.
“If he's going there, to Ireland in June, I do have an agent here that's going to try to figure out how to get that invitation.”
When asked if he had a message for our readers and fans of sundayworld.com, ‘Mr Biden’, declared: “Folks, we made it. We're here. We know what our challenges are and we can do it together as the United States…and It’s great to be in an Irish paper!
