Accident horror Man in 'serious condition' after falling off electric scooter on Dublin road

A man is in a serious condition after falling off an electric scooter during a crash in Dublin this morning.

The incident took place on Herberton Road in the Rialto/Drimnagh area of Dublin 12 at approximately 8.45am today, Tuesday 16th November.

Gardaí were alerted after a man in his 40s fell off the electronic scooter he was travelling on.

The casualty was rushed to St James’s Hospital where he is understood to be in a “serious condition.”

The road has fully reopened after being closed earlier this morning while a technical examination of the scene was carried out.

Gardaí are now appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.

Any road users who were travelling in the area at this time and who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
