Lynsey Bennett reunites with daughters after 'intense' cancer treatment in Germany

The Cevical Check campaigner said that she was enjoying spending some time with Hailee and Zoe after 10 days apart while she returned to Germany for further hospital visits.

She added that her kids had been busy while she was away so they had lots to catch up on.

Taking to social media on Tuesday morning, Lynsey shared a photo with her two children as they had a laugh together trying on a funny Snapchat filter.

“Got to see my babies Sunday evening… after 10 days in their dads…” she wrote.

“Miss Hailee even got to go to Lanzo for a week while I was in Germany for treatment. Apologies for my lack of responses to messages, when I got home I’ve just needed time for me and now my girls are back with me and off this week I will still be a little MIA️.

“Zoë is going to her first disco on Friday hopefully so we’ve to go shopping, something I am so over the moon to be here to see.”

Lynsey added that she’s hoping to head to Tayto Park or Dublin Zoo with the girls after spending a “fantastic day” at Luggwood’s Easter-themed forest in Dublin.

Last week, the 33-year-old updated her followers on her health after returning to Germany for a five-day treatment appointment.

“Full body hyperthermia today, the treatment that needs the most deep breaths in and out to stay in it for the 2 hours,” she said, sharing a picture from her hospital bed.

“Over the moon. My scan results, we’re good once again the path I am taking is one that truly works for me. I just smile now when I think of it and feel safe in the belief of what I do.”

“I have always said I work better with natural things and sure enough my sensitivity test came back with 12 natural compounds 10 of which were mostly in the 70% and 80% ranges of being sensitive to help me…Anything over 60% would be amazing to try so seeing 75 and 85 was a dream,” she added.

“And so it’s opened many more treatments to try here. And this week is intense.”

Lynsey said she would be allowed bring her treatment back to Ireland if she had a nurse to set up her IV.

“These are treatments I would be allowed bring home if I had someone to help me get access to the vein,” she explained.

“I knew had to ask the hospital at home for help even though I knew in my gut what answer would be when I asked before I came back here, asking about helping me with infusions I get here:”

“‘We can only infuse approved chemotherapies here due to Hospital insurance. We do not have the ability to infuse vitamins, supplements, or other complementary cancer therapies.’”
