Hurricane Epsilon tail end set to batter Ireland with 'extremely windy' conditions
Wet and windy conditions

The remains of Hurricane Epsilon are expected to lash the country from early next week, before the weather settles down again with brighter conditions.
Met Eireann has said Tuesday will be extremely windy with blustery and heavy showers and a risk of hail as the storm passes over.
“Tuesday will start wet in many areas, but the rain will clear later in the morning with sunny spells and scattered showers feeding in from the west,” the forecaster predicted.
“Moderate westerly breezes will turn very windy later in the day as the remnants of Hurricane Epsilon bring in scattered, blustery and heavy showers, thundery at times with a risk of hail. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees."
Current outlook suggests that it will continue rather unsettled though temperatures will increase to more normal values or slightly above for the time of year.
Meanwhile, the bank holiday will see some "heavy or squally" showers with a risk of hail and isolated thunderstorms.
A forecaster revealed Saturday will be "blustery, with fresh and gusty southwesterly winds, continuing strong to near gale in western and northwestern coastal areas this morning, but easing as the day goes on. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees."
The showers will continue overnight, particularly in western counties, with a continued risk of hail and isolated thunderstorms.
It will be chilly with the mercury dropping to lows of 4 to 7 degrees. Moderate to fresh southwesterly winds will be strong on coasts.
