A sign in a New Jersey store has been attracting the attention of eagle eyed social media users here in Ireland.

A post on the popular site Reddit has had users scratching their heads after somebody uploaded this picture of the sign in familiar grey and with a well known logo.

"Seen in a New Jersey store. Notice anything familiar?" the person wrote.

On closer examination, the poster, detailing Covid-19 advice and rules, appears to have been originally created for a more home grown audience.

"Seems like the HSE stuff was so easy to understand a bunch of places have just used them. Well done the HSE comms Dept," was one response.

Another added: "That's a very effective colour scheme that should win awards and never be seen again after 2021"

"Ahh Target, bless ‘em! This is a welcome change from everyone complaining the HSE is using NHS material," joked one person.

"To be fair, both organisations produce (and acquire) some really decent health promotion and public health literature," another suggested.

The person who made the original post added in response: ‘I did such a double take, honestly. Sure I looked like an idiot taking a photo of a sign, but I just had to.’
