
Drugs bust Gardai seize €70,000 of cannabis and arrest man in Mullingar, Co Westmeath
Gardai attached to the Westmeath Divisional Drugs Unit discovered 3.5 kilos of suspected cannabis worth an estimated €70,000.
A man is in custody today after gardai seized a whopping €70,000 of cannabis in Mullingar, Co Westmeath yesterday.
Officers made the bust during a search search of a house under warrant, at Ardleigh Gate Mullingar.
Gardai attached to the Westmeath Divisional Drugs Unit discovered 3.5 kilos of suspected cannabis worth an estimated €70,000.

A man in his 30s has been arrested and is currently being held at Mullingar Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
The drugs seized will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
An Garda Siochana say the investigation is ongoing.
