Gardaí seek witnesses to fatal Mayo crash that killed young man (33)

Gardaí are renewing their appeal for information on a crash that killed a man in his 30s in Co. Mayo last week.
David Henning, who was 33, died after a head-on collision involving two vehicles on the N60 in Breaffy, Castlebar on Monday, 27th December shortly after 5.30pm.
Mr Henning, who lived in Killawalla, was a front-seat passenger in one of the cars, passed away after receiving “fatal injuries.”
Four others, three men and a woman, were taken to Mayo General Hospital where they received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

Gardaí are now appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward. Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the N60 Castlebar to Claremorris Road between 5.35pm -5.55pm, is asked to make this footage available Gardaí.
