Public appeal Gardai seek help to find missing man Gheorghe Virvara
UPDATE: Gardai have confirmed the search for Fergal Guilfoyle has been stood down following the discovery of a body on Sunday, January 10.
Gardai are seeking the public’s assistance in finding two missing men from Dublin and Galway.
Gheorghe Virvara (36) is missing from the Burnell Court area of the Malahide Road in Dublin 17.
He was last seen at Father Collins Park, Clongriffin, Dublin 13 on the evening of December 27.
The missing man is described as being 5'7", with dark hair with brown eyes. When last seen Gheorghe was wearing a black winter jacket, blue jeans and blue Nike runners.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts are asked to contact Gardai in Coolock on 01 666 4200 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
Meanwhile, Gardaà and the family of Fergal Guilfoyle (43) from Galway say they are very concerned for his welfare and have urged him to make contact.
Fergal was last seen in the Newcastle Road area of Galway, nearly two weeks ago, on December 15.
He is described as being 5'9", with dark receding hair, of slight build with blue eyes.
When last seen Fergal was wearing a navy jacket, dark blue jeans and a cream beanie hat.
Anyone with information, particularly any road users with dash cam footage of the Newcastle / University Road areas between 4am - 5am on December 15 are asked to contact Gardai in Galway on 091 538 000 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
A spokesperson said: "Gardai are seeking the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of Fergal Guilfoyle, 43 years, who is missing from Galway area.
"Fergal was last seen in the Newcastle Road area of Galway on 15/12/2020.
"He is described as being 5'9", with dark receding hair, of slight build with blue eyes.
