Gardai release images of stolen e-scooters and bikes in bid to find owners

Gardaí conducted searches in South Dublin that resulted in the recovery of more than 80 e-scooters and bicycles

Gardai have released images of more than 40 stolen e-scooters and bikes that they are trying to reunite with their owners.

It follows the seizure of a number of bikes in Garda raids across the South Dublin area.

As part of an ongoing investigation, gardaí conducted the searches that resulted in the recovery of more than 80 e-scooters and bicycles.

Kevin Street gardaí are now seeking the public’s assistance in reuniting more than 40 of them with their owners.

“Over 30 of these scooters and bikes have been identified and returned to their lawful owners,” gardai added.

“Gardaí advice to members of the public is to always take a photo of their scooters or bicycles upon purchase, and where possible, have their property marked to assist with identification should they be they be stolen.
