Goose chase Gardai on look out for quack team that stole gaggle of geese during Donegal burglary

'No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing'

Gardaí are on the lookout for a gaggle of stolen geese that were taken during a burglary in Co Donegal. 

The geese were snatched during the break-in at a premises in Coolboy, Letterkenny, at approximately 8pm on September 27.

Gardaí in Milford are investigating circumstances surrounding the theft that also includes shovels, grapes, hedge trimmers, axes and chainsaws from a shed.

It has been reported that those who took the items had a vehicle as they made their getaway.

Gardai said a number of livestock and belongings were taken from the premises in the course of the incident.

“Gardaí attended a burglary that occurred at a premises in Coolboy, Letterkenny, Co Donegal at approximately 8pm on September 27,” they confirmed.

“No injuries were reported,” gardai said. “No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.”
