Appeal Gardai keeping 'open mind' after woman’s body found in Co Kerry

Gardaí are continuing to investigate 'all the circumstances surrounding the discovery'

Gardai say they are keeping “an open mind” as they investigate the discovery of a woman’s body in Co Kerry. 

The body was discovered at a house in Lixnaw, Co Kerry yesterday morning.

A garda spokesperson said officers are continuing to investigate “all the circumstances surrounding the discovery”.

“Gardaí maintain an open mind in this investigation and An Garda Síochána is not providing any further information at this time,” they added.

A post mortem has been carried out, however, details of the post mortem results are not being released “for operational reasons."

“Gardaí in Listowel are appealing to any person with any information in relation to this investigation to contact them at Listowel Garda Station on 068 50820, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda station", a spokesperson said.
