Garda probe after eight men found fleeing truck that had arrived into Rosslare Port

Gardai at the scene
A GARDAI operation is ongoing in Wexford after eight men, believed to be refugees, were discovered fleeing a lorry that arrived in the country earlier today.
Images of the men being spoken to by gardai on the side of a road in Cooladine, Enniscorthy were taken by a passing motorist.
A local source told the Sunday World the men had arrived in the country in the container of a truck that came in through Rosslare earlier today.
It’s understood the truck was transporting a consignment to be delivered to a business in the Kilpierce area of the county.
It’s believed the men alighted from the container as the delivery was being completed
