A Dublin man arrested for possessing cocaine for supply at his home been granted bail.

Daniel Clarke, 27, from Dolphin House, in Dolphin’s Barn, was arrested on Friday evening and brought to Kevin Street Garda station.

He was charged with having the drug for sale or supply at his address on the date of his arrest.

He appeared before Judge Victor Blake at Dublin District Court on Saturday.

Garda Thomas O’Connor said Mr Clarke made no reply to charge.

There was no objection to bail.

Judge Blake granted legal aid and ordered him to appear again in September for directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions to be obtained.
