Gardaí have issued an online appeal to find the owner of a small dog who got separated from her owner in Dublin.

The pup was handed in to gardaí after she was found near the Luas stop at the Four Courts in Dublin’s city centre.

She is currently being cared for at Store Street Garda Station.

Photos of the female dog, which is tan in colour and appears to be a terrier of some sort, were shared on An Garda Síochána’s social media accounts in the hopes of reuniting her with her owner.

A spokesperson said: “Gardaí are looking to reunite this dog with her owner. She was found near the Four Courts Luas stop before being given to Gardaí.

“She is currently being looked after in Store Street Garda Station.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact Store Street Garda Station at 016668000.”
