Responders from Dublin Fire Brigade have successfully extinguished a blaze that broke out in a car park in Dublin city centre this afternoon.

The fire took place in the car park of an office block, where rubbish had been set alight.

Firefighters worked to put out the fire before it spread to nearby pipes and cables.

Taking to social media on Monday afternoon, Dublin Fire Brigade said: “Firefighters have extinguished a fire in the car park of an office block in the city centre.

“Rubbish was alight, but was prevented from spreading to services such as pipes and cabling.

“One high pressure hose reel and a thermal imaging camera used.”
