The DSPCA (Dublin Society for Prevention of Cruelty against Animals) has released a heartbreaking video showing a three-week-old puppy that was found beside a dumpster with a fractured jaw.
The puppy was pale when it was discovered and was immediately placed on oxygen and a feeding tube.
With two fractures to her face, Sebastiana was close to death, but is now stable and will undergo surgery in the coming months.
Taking to social media, the charity said: ”At only 3 weeks old she was found beside a dumpster with a fractured jaw, 2 fractures to her face and one to her head.

“Sebastiana was close to dead and we honestly didn't know if she would make it.
“She was very pale and was instantly placed into an oxygen unit and a feeding tube was placed,” they added.
“This tiny little girl is such a fighter and over the weekend she was monitored around the clock by our wonderful vets and nurses to give her every chance of survival.
“Her jaw has been stabilised but will need surgery in a few months time.”
“We never know what we will face each day but we know that we will go above and beyond to save a life so precious.”
