Bernadette Connolly has been missing since January 7th
The daughter of missing Dubliner Bernadette Connolly has shared a heartbreaking throwback as the search continues.
Jade Connolly took to Instagram to share a short clip of her mum as the pair enjoyed an ice-cream together.
She captioned the video with a broken-heart emoji.
The 45-year-old, from Swords, has not been seen since Friday, January 7th.
Bernadette was last seen when she was dropped by taxi at the car park of the Shoreline Hotel in Donabate and walking towards the entrance to Donabate Beach.
Her case featured on January’s episode of Crimecall, a monthly RTÉ programme that appeals to the public to help An Garda Síochána solve ongoing investigations.
Sharing a clip of the programme to her Instagram, which included CCTV of her mother’s last known movements, Jade previously begged for anyone who may recall seeing a woman with a pink towel on the beach on the day her mother vanished, to reach out to Gardaí.
“Pleading with Malahide residents near Biscayne in particular that have that location in view to check CCTV footage from 12.45.”
“There is also a house that looks like a tower/castle near Malahide car park.”
During the Crimecall appeal, Gardaí released footage showing Bernadette as she exited a taxi at the Shoreline Hotel in Donabate before waving the driver off and proceeding to walk towards the beach.
The missing mum of one then took a photograph of Malahide Bay from the end of Donabate Beach at 12.38pm.
Bernadette’s black coat and handbag, which contained her phone, were found on the beach.
They appealed for anyone who was on the beach that day to come forward.
Bernadette is described as being 5’6” in height, of slim build with hazel eyes, long black hair and a tattoo on her lower back.
When she was last seen, Bernadette was wearing a black Nike training top with a large white Nike tick logo on the front, black Nike leggings and black trainers with white soles.
She was also wearing a black woolly hat with a black bobble on top. She also may have had a pink or red coloured towel in her possession.
Anyone with any information on Bernadette’s whereabouts are asked to contact Swords Garda Station 016664700, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800666111 or any Garda station.
