Covid-19 crisis 'Covid is creation of the Jews': Bishop's sick claim
Twisted anti-semitism spouted in west cork chapel...
THIS holocaust denying 'Bishop' used a Cork chapel to stage a sickening anti-semitic talk - in which he falsely claimed Covid-19 "is possibly the creation of the Jews".
Video footage seen by the Sunday World shows 'Bishop' Richard Williamson, who has twice been excommunicated by the Catholic Church, staging the hate-filled talk in a chapel built by the Catholic splinter group 'SSPX Resistance' in Maulatanvally, west Cork.
The Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) describe themselves as group of 'traditionalist Catholics' who hold Latin Masses and reject the Vatican II reforms.
During the half-hour recording, posted on the internet in March and which has been viewed almost 5,000 times, Richardson, a founding member of 'SSPX Resistance', sickeningly claims.
On Wednesday, the Sunday World called to the isolated west Cork Priory set up by SSPX Resistance to confront the group about the video staged in their chapel - located just 4km from Dunmanway.
Despite knocking on the front door of the renovated farmhouse that is the group's Cork headquarters, there was no sign of Williamson or the head of the Cork outfit, Father Giacomo Ballini.
Similarly, no-one answered when our team knocked at o the group's recently-constructed chapel, where Williamson staged his sickening talk, or the chalets erected alongside the main building.
The SSPX Resistance movement, under the leadership of Fr Ballini, set up a base in west Cork in 2016.
It is a splinter group from the controversial SSPX which was founded in 1970 by former archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, who clashed with the Catholic Church following his rejection of Vatican II reforms.
One of the founding members of the splinter group SSPX Resistance is convicted Holocaust denier Richard Williamson, who is understood to now regularly visit Cork for talks.
And it is one of those talks that now, in the wake of this Sunday World probe, sees gardaí being called on to investigate him for incitement to hatred in this country.
In the video, entitled 'Bp. R. Williamson Conference on Social Breakdown with coronavirus comment' recorded on 14/03/2020 at the chapel in the SSPX compound, he makes a number of comments relating to the Jewish people.
In one section of the talk, he says of the Jewish people: "They have chosen to turn against God.
"They have turned against God with all the gifts that he has given to them - that makes them very powerful and weighty enemies of the Church. And they are master servants of the devil."
Speaking of the stock market turmoil brought on by Covid-19, he asks: "Is this the final crash by which the Jews hope to set on the third world war? Because, they are putting a lot of their hopes in the Third World War."
Incredibly, he also claims the Jewish people, six million of whom were murdered by the Nazis, did very well out of World War II.
"By those two wars, (World War I and World War II) the cause of the Jews against God advanced greatly," he said.
"They are hoping with the Third World War, their idea, inspired very probably by Satan. At the very top of their organisation, the top of their people may be in direct contact with Satan, direct."
Not content with such vilification, he then goes on to incredibly claim that the Jewish people may be behind Covid-19.
"It's even possible," he is recorded on the video saying, "a lot of people think that the pin which struck the balloon, the pin is possibly the creation of the Jews.
"That is to say, the virus itself is almost certainly artificial.
"It's as if mankind itself doesn't already have enough illnesses.
"What you need to think of is the possibility, one, the virus is completely artificial and manmade - that seems to be highly probable.
"Two, that it was designed with this purpose to bring society to a grinding halt. The only question is whether this is meant by the bad guys to be the final collapse or a dress rehearsal for the final collapse."
Richardson then purports that the Jewish people are working hand in hand with the Freemasons.
"It's possible that the enemies of God …. which is not only Jews … it's the Jews that work with the gentiles of Freemasonry, it's the gentiles of Freemasonry that work with the Jews … for those are the two main groups that are deliberately working against God and against men.
"They hate life, they hate man, they hate God and they are true children of Satan."
Williamson's Cork talk targeting the Jewish community is not the first occasion on which he has engaged in anti-semiticism.
He was previously fined €1,800 for denying there were gas chambers in Nazi Germany's death camps in a 2008 interview with Swedish television.
On Friday, the Sunday World managed to contact with Fr Giacomo Ballini by email and asked him whether his SSPX Resistance group in Cork endorsed the views of his 'bishop.'
This newspaper asked: 'Does the SSPX Resistance movement, which you organise in Cork, support or endorse the comments?
'Why was this man, a convicted Holocaust denier, allowed to record these comments in your priory?
'Are the anti-Semitic comments representative of the beliefs of SSPX Resistance in Cork?
'And does the SSPX Resistance movement in Cork agree with the Bishop's claims that Covid-19 is 'possibly the creation of the Jews.'
While not commenting specifically on the contents of the March video, i Fr Bellini said his group had been the subject of harassment and false claims in recent weeks which are now under Garda investigation.
The Jewish Representative Council of Ireland confirmed to this newspaper, after we forwarded them the video, that they have now handed it over to gardaí.
"We were disgusted to learn that Williamson, a known Holocaust denier, has been hosted in Cork," said Chairperson of the Council Maurice Cohen.
"We are asking the Gardaí to immediately investigate this incitement to hatred. This obnoxious rhetoric must never be allowed to gain a foothold in Ireland.'
