Carlow tanning salon destroyed in blaze after car crashes into building
The incident took place on Tullow Street in Carlow Town at approximately 5am this morning, Tuesday 17th May.
A tanning salon in Carlow has been completely "destroyed" after a car crashed into the building and caught fire.
The incident took place on Tullow Street in Carlow Town at approximately 5am this morning, Tuesday 17th May.
Gardaí confirmed that a fire broke out when a car collided with the business premises and overheard apartments.
Fire Services from Carlow Town and Bagenalstown Fire Station attended the scene to extinguish the blaze.

The scene of the incident is currently preserved for a technical examination. Tullow Street remains partially closed to traffic while the examination takes place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information or video footage of this incident to come forward.
A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí can be contacted at Tullow Garda station on 059 915 1222 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
"No further information is available at this time. Enquiries are ongoing."
