The raffle was set up by Ballina native John Goodwin, the former director of the world-renowned Cirque de Soleil company, and is open to everyone worldwide.

Tickets cost only €50 per entry and can be bought through raffall.com, who will manage ticket sales independently choose the winner.

The draw is scheduled to take place on October 31st, 2021 once all 20,000 tickets are sold.

The stunning penthouse is one of seven apartments in an exclusive building right in the heart of the Docklands and was the winning property on the hit US TV show House Hunters International.

It comes fully furnished, and for those not looking to relocate to Dublin’s city centre, John says that the apartment could help the winner earn over €50,000 annually due to its fashionable location.

Speaking about the draw, John explained that he wanted to raffle off his penthouse so he could go back to his roots in Mayo.

He said: “I was planning to sell the apartment last year. I planned to base myself in Mayo and travel less.”

“My dream is to go for long morning walks on Enniscrone beach before I start my day, have a more relaxed life and spend time along the Wild Atlantic Way.

"I’ve travelled the world and yet there are still parts of Mayo that lie undiscovered for me.

"That was the plan - then the pandemic hit us and we were all put into lockdown.

"The Covid-19 restrictions in place meant that no one was allowed to view a house for sale, so I started to look for alternative creative ways to sell the apartment.”

John added that Raffall.com will “independently select the winner and then their Irish solicitors will handle all the legals and the contracts to transfer of title to the winner.”
